If you missed out last year, then you are in for a treat!
At 9.6% ABV, Transmutation is a blast to brew and one of our personal favourites, for without it we would likely not have left our past lives and embarked on this Category 12 adventure! We have once again cooked up our own Belgian amber Candi sugar, which imparts both an amazing colour and amped-up ABV without increasing body. Combined with triple the amount of malt that goes into a standard Trappist “Single”, you’ll find this beer complex, spicy, and fruity with a smooth finish. We use a generous amount of Noble and Northwestern hops, which are balanced by the malt to create a full, creamy mouth feel.
Deceptively potent and delicious, it’s a limited run, so get it while you can! Transmutation is a limited release and won’t last long. It also happens to cellar well, so don’t be afraid to save a bottle or twelve 😉
Starting Tuesday, February 16th, the brewery tap room will be filling growlers, glasses and have bottles.
Transmutation bottles and a limited number of kegs will also be shipping out to craft friendly liquor stores and select pubs throughout the week!
